Snowy Mountains 2020
In the end, the fires burned more than 200,000 sq km and destroyed 6,000 buildings. Three billion animals were killed or displaced and 34 people died. The smoke moved 11,000km across the Pacific Ocean and reached Argentina …… and then came the floods, from Sydney to Taree and beyond. I’m left scarred by the memories. My photographs bleed an apocalyptic aftermath of destruction
