Climate youth activists, Indigenous people, parents and others most affected by climate change will be staging an action marking the end of the Cop26, calling on negotiators to ‘end climate betrayal’ with concrete action over the next two weeks. Attendants will hold up huge illuminated letters and a number of them will make short speeches. This action follows the viral open letter to world leaders by Greta Thunberg, Vanessa Nakate and Mitzi Tan, demanding they enact a five-point plan for the climate. It’s been signed by more than 1 million people globally.
